Grounded in community engagement and driven by innovation, WYDI applies a holistic, human rights, and community-driven approach to empower vulnerable populations and strengthen grassroots resilience.
WYDI began as a grassroots initiative responding to the urgent needs of women and youth in Liberia. Over time, WYDI has grown into a respected nonprofit organization committed to advancing inclusion, equity, and community resilience. WYDI works with diverse and underserved populations, including vulnerable women and youth, persons with disabilities, community leaders, and other marginalized groups, who are disproportionately affected by gender-based violence, inequality, and limited economic opportunities. Through community-driven programs and partnerships, WYDI continues to champion empowerment, protection, and sustainable development across Liberia.
