Advocacy and Civic Engagement
WYDI empowers citizens to engage in governance, accountability, and electoral processes and educates youth and women on civic rights and responsibilities. This involves equipping communities with the tools and platforms to influence policy, demand accountability, and actively shape democratic governance.

Food Security and Sustainable Agriculture
WYDI advances and promotes climate-smart agriculture and nutrition-sensitive interventions while supporting women and youth-led agriculture cooperatives. This initiative provides access to resources, improves rural livelihoods, and provides market linkages that empower communities.

Economic Empowerment
WYDI provides skills training, financial literacy, and business development support and facilitates access to microcredit and livelihood opportunities.

Gender-Based Violence Prevention & Response
WYDI delivers GBV survivor support services, including counseling, legal aid, and shelter, creates public awareness, and supports community-based prevention programs.

Legal Justice & Human Rights
WYDI provides legal aid and education for vulnerable populations, especially persons with disabilities and adolescents, and monitors and reports human rights violations.

WYDI builds community climate resilience through climate-smart practices and ecosystem restoration and improves environmental health by reducing pollution and strengthening water and sanitation practices.
